Group Talk

Hey if there is anyone here who worked in a group they should understand what i mean. Recently, one of the members of my group had to go to an important meeting with but instead left me hanging to do it myself. It was only after the meeting was over that he texted me that he could not attend. This was extremely frustrating because for any group to function communication is the key and if you have one person not communicating with the rest it could ruin the whole team dynamic. The reason I say this, is because, the whole point of a group is to divide the tasks to individual members and the work done by one member is linked to the work done by another, and so if one person does not report the work he or she did then the other person cannot progress. A recent example of how poor communication can ruin a project can be seen in EA’s latest game Anthem, as this was poorly developed game as the developers did not communicate with the game designers and game testers properly which resulted in, frankly, a hot mess. So for all those out there in a group project, please, PLEASE properly communicate with your team.
